to Lilyann C. who is celebrating a birthday this week. The first Sunday of each
month is Food Bank Sunday. Please bring a donation if you are able. There will be a ladies’
lunch time potluck on September 10th at Burtch Baptist Church. See the poster
for details. à Sunday, September 13th
is Decoration Day at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be
held at 2:00 p.m. Bring a lawn chair. A fellowship time will
follow the service. In case of rain, the service will be held at Mt.
Pleasant United Church. On the afternoon of
Saturday, September 26th, we will be holding a crafting session to prepare
crafts for the bazaar. Please consider coming out to help. Everyone is
welcome. More information to follow. Starting in September, Alpha is coming to Farrington Church. Alpha is a
multiweek program that explores faith in the real world. For more details, or
to register, call 519-759-2496. A coffee hour follows
the service on the second Sunday of every month. Donations made at coffee
hour over the second half of the year support our sponsored child in
Palestine. |
