MUSIC DIRECTOR |
|
|
At the age of 3 years old, Amy Groleau expressed
an interest in playing the piano. Thus began the lessons, and she studied
music throughout high school and university. Amy has been a church musician and piano
accompanist for more than 45 years. In addition to planning music for worship
services at Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church for the past 17 years, she
celebrates 29 years as a civil servant in Public Works Engineering Services
for a local municipality. As the accompanist and concert co-ordinator for
the Brant County Singers and Brant Men of Song for the past 25 years, Amy is honoured
to be the longest-standing pianist for these two community choruses. You
know what music is? God’s little reminder that there’s something else besides
us in the universe; harmonic connection between all living beings,
everywhere, even the stars. - Robin Williams |
